By registering, accessing, or using Genlance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Genlance on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.

2. User Eligibility

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

4. Services Overview

Genlance provides a platform for freelancers and clients to connect. Clients can post projects, and freelancers can submit proposals and complete work. Genlance does not directly participate in the agreements between freelancers and clients.

5. User Conduct

As a user of Genlance, you agree to:

• Not use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Abide by all Genlance policies and refrain from engaging in any actions that may harm the platform or other users.

6. Payment Terms

• Freelancers: Freelancers will receive payment for completed projects as per the agreements with clients, using Genlance's secure payment system. Genlance may deduct a service fee from the freelancer’s payment.
• Clients: Clients agree to pay freelancers the agreed-upon fees for completed work through Genlance's payment system. Clients must release payments when milestones are met or work is delivered to satisfaction.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content provided by users, including project descriptions, proposals, and reviews, remains the intellectual property of the respective users.
• By submitting content on Genlance, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display the content for the purpose of operating the platform.

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between freelancers and clients, Genlance may offer mediation services but is not responsible for resolving disputes. Users agree to cooperate in good faith to resolve any issues that arise during the course of using the platform.

9. Termination

Genlance reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms or any behavior that is deemed inappropriate or harmful to the platform or other users. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support.

10. Limitation of Liability

Genlance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that result from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee the quality of work delivered by freelancers or the accuracy of project postings by clients.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. Your continued use of Genlance after any changes to the Terms will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.
